Heart tests — ECG and ECHO — at the centre.

An ECG (electrocardiogram) records the electrical activity of the heart. It is quick and non-invasive.

An ECHO (echocardiogram) is an ultrasound of the heart that shows how the heart's chambers and valves are working.

What to expect

For an ECG, small sticky electrodes are placed on the chest, arms and legs for a short recording.
For an ECHO, a gel is applied to the chest and a probe is moved over the area.
Please bring your doctor's prescription and any previous heart reports.
